Documentation Segment:

This 2 CE course demystifies healthcare documentation standards, focusing on three critical areas that impact your practice’s compliance and effectiveness. Beginning with SOAP note methodology, you’ll learn to create precise clinical records that properly convey patient care through structured Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan documentation. Master the elements of exceptional SOAP notes to enhance patient care continuity and meet documentation requirements.

The course then explores the HEDIS program, a vital quality measurement system that monitors care plans and affects your local DC operations. You’ll discover how understanding HEDIS ratings, scores, and properly supporting documentation requirements—including x-ray documentation and exclusion codes—can significantly impact your practice with just minor adjustments to your workflow and documentation approach.

Finally, our Medicare segment simplifies the often intimidating Medicare billing and documentation process. You’ll gain confidence navigating participation options, coverage indications, active treatment requirements, and proper use of modifiers. The course thoroughly covers critical compliance tools including Advance Beneficiary Notices, the No Surprises Act, and proper application of Medicare modifiers (AT, GA, GZ, GX, GY). This knowledge ensures your practice can bill appropriately while protecting both your patients and your practice from unexpected costs or compliance issues.

The modern chiropractic practice must be patient-centric, striving to relieve pain and improve health from a holistic perspective.  Modern Chiropractic Integration: Ethical, Clinical and Practical Insights is a 24-hour course looking at the demands and expectations of today’s world.

The curriculum delves into the ethical foundations for today's patient-centered care models. As clinicians, DCs observe and act upon the links between structure and function, along with the interactions of the biomechanical and biochemical/nutritional, as well as behaviors and attitude.  Course attendees learn to enhance competence through applying current anatomical and physiological concepts to analysis and then utilizing appropriate diagnostic technology in clinical decision-making for care.

Special emphasis is placed on therapeutic approaches addressing biomechanics, balance and posture, as well as implementing protocols to track change over time with in-office treatment, self-care and lifestyle advice.
