Posture breakdown often follows predictable patterns of functional compensations and structural adaptations, reinforced by spirals of mechanical weakness and overuse, as well as neurologic facilitation and behavioral habits.
Part 3 of the StrongPosture® chiropractic education course offers specific strategies to address postural low back and neck pain, with a focus on strengthening diaphragmatic breathing patterns. Attentional focus exercises are employed to enhance, refine, and progress accurate control of core-coupled whole body motion, leading to tangible changes that clients can feel.
Active motion control retraining is integrated with the unique contributions of passive therapies, such as spinal manipulation and muscular therapies. The StrongPosture® protocol also systematically promotes biomechanical understanding and an appreciation of the value of posture care, especially for people living seated in a folded, tech society. Through education and demonstrations, professionals will be equipped to effectively promote posture care, leading to better outcomes for their clients.
Bonus: Includes a downloadable flyer.
