Posture and Balance Assessment, Rehabilitation, and Motor Control Exercise – 9HRS [NCBTMB | MASSAGE]

[9 HRS MT/NCBTMB – PARTS 1-3] This course delivers engaging lecture videos, animations, and detailed motion exercise videos using balls, bands, foam pads, and other simple tools. It empowers massage therapists to guide clients from acute care (involving passive therapy and posture awareness) to rehabilitation (with less passive therapy and gradual introduction of active rehab exercises for posture control), and ultimately to wellness (integrating daily posture exercises with passive therapy as needed to optimize biomechanical benefits from other exercises and daily activities).

[9 HRS MT/NCBTMB – PARTS 1-3] The Posture & Balance massage continuing education course seamlessly blends clinical strategies for passive therapies with dynamic methods aimed at functionally enhancing posture. Through systematic protocols and personalized exercises, individuals are guided to strengthen their standing Balance, refine static Alignment, and improve dynamic Motion.

Patient-friendly explanations of postural biomechanics, alongside five intuitive principles, accompany each exercise, fostering a deeper understanding and adoption of intelligent postural habits.

Featuring engaging lecture videos, animated demonstrations, and detailed exercise guides utilizing simple tools like balls, bands, and foam pads, this course equips massage therapists to progress clients from initial passive therapy sessions and posture awareness to active rehabilitation exercises, ultimately leading to a wellness-oriented approach.

The ultimate aim? Empowering individuals to move freely, reduce injury risks, enhance performance, and make informed choices to optimize their biomechanical well-being.

Functionally strengthening posture entails identifying and correcting sensorimotor discrepancies between perceived posture and external reality. By systematically retraining specific movements and addressing whole-body compensatory patterns, massage therapists can significantly impact clients' posture and overall well-being.

Attendees will learn to tailor StrongPosture® exercises to address specific symptoms, syndromes, and individual capabilities, facilitating the normalization of biomechanics despite ingrained daily postural habits. From initial awareness-building through digital photography to guiding clients towards discovering their strongest, core-engaged posture, attendees will gain the tools to establish themselves as posture specialists committed to promoting wellness.

As posture becomes an increasingly relevant concern for consumers of all ages, individuals are drawn to the awareness and tangible functional improvements offered by StrongPosture® exercises. Thus, whether focusing on pain relief, evidence-based back care, sports performance, or overall wellness, positioning oneself as a posture specialist is not only a professional identity but a crucial role in helping individuals move, feel, and thrive in today's world.
