Alaska chiropractic continuing education requirements are set by the AK BOCE. The regulatory body responsible for overseeing the practice of Chiropractic in Alaska is tasked with creating and enforcing regulations to ensure the safety and quality of chiropractic care in the state, as well as Alaska chiropractic continuing education requirements. This body, which is staffed by the Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing, has the authority to make final licensing decisions and to take disciplinary actions against those who violate licensing laws. Its membership consists of four licensed chiropractic physicians and one public member, all of whom are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Legislature. The body meets at least twice a year and offers a public comment period at each meeting, providing a means for the public to provide input and feedback on the regulation of chiropractic care in Alaska.
