Colorado requires 15 hours of CE every year, 30 hours per renewal period.
Special Requirements: 4 of the required 30 hours must include:

Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners
The regulation of individual chiropractors and chiropractic licenses in Colorado is carried out by the Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners. A licensed chiropractor can have up to three (3) different authorities, namely acupuncture, electrotherapy, and animal, in addition to their chiropractic license. The board convenes regularly to approve license applications, enforce the chiropractic rules, regulations, and practice act that governs the profession, and take disciplinary action against those who have breached the Chiropractic Practice Act, Rules, and Regulations. Moreover, the board reviews complaints and when necessary, utilizes the Division’s Office of Investigations to investigate the complaints.

The Colorado Chiropractic Association (CCA) based in Denver is committed to safeguarding and advancing the chiropractic profession in the state. To achieve this goal, the CCA has identified several key areas of focus. One priority is to establish transparent communication channels and improve engagement with members.
