Hawaii Board of Chiropractic Examiners

The Professional and Vocational Licensing Division (PVL) in Honolulu is responsible for executing licensing regulations for 52 professions and vocations, including chiropractors who are licensed through the Hawaii Board of Chiropractic. PVL has administrative oversight for 25 licensing regulatory boards and commissions and 27 licensing programs without a board or commission. PVL’s responsibilities include providing staff support to licensing regulatory boards, processing applications, issuing licenses, conducting reviews, overseeing renewals, approving Hawaii chiropractic continuing education programs, and maintaining accurate license records. Moreover, PVL offers guidance on the proper implementation of licensing laws and administrative rules in all 52 licensing areas.
