North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners

The North Carolina State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, situated in Raleigh, NC, was established by the North Carolina General Assembly to regulate doctors of chiropractic, ensuring the well-being of the state’s residents. The board also oversees the certification of Chiropractic Clinical Assistants and Diagnostic Imaging (X-Ray) Technicians. It consists of eight members, six of whom are practicing chiropractors appointed by the Governor and two appointed by the General Assembly. Additionally, two members representing the general public, without ties to healthcare providers, are chosen by the Governor.
